As you get older you find out that
true happiness is not in how much
you make or how many degrees you
have or how big your house is or
how fancy your car is. It’s finding
peace and joy and a calmness in your
life that will soon become the most
important thing to you. Your family
is what really matters to you, love
is what matters to you. Things that
are of quality, not quantity.
Getting older, I realize I've had a very fortunate life. I've had a budget that's allowed me to do just about any silly little thing the mind could conjure up, and I'm still alive and here. - Rick Danko
I know my generation - a lot of them, they're getting old now, and they want to think back fondly, they want to kid themselves. A lot of them think, 'Yeah, we were the best.' That's the kiss of death. That's non-growth. And also that's very bad for the world. - Joni Mitchell
“I was thinking about how people seem to read the bible a lot more as they get older, and then it dawned on me—they’re cramming for their final exam.” - George Carlin
