Cell Phone Security, Something to keep your phone safe

Mobile technology has developed to such an extent that almost everyone on the planet has a cell phone and spends most of his time on mobile. The most common use of mobile starts with communication. From apps to business tracking to entertainment and social media, this is the most used phone platform. But! Using our phones for everything, how much do we actually know about the device itself?

It doesn't matter what type of smartphone you have, whether your phone is expensive or a well-known brand. What matters is how well you know the security of your mobile phone. These are the important security issues of your phone that you should take care of. Everything you need to know to keep your phone safe.

How secure is your mobile device? It's easy to forget that your mobile phone is basically a pocket-sized computer. Like computers, your mobile devices need Internet security. You can't even imagine why someone would break into your smartphone and steal your data?

1) Do not disclose the family relationship in your contact list. Avoid using names like Home, Wife, Husband, My Love, Father, Mother, Daughter Son etc.

2) Banks will never ask for your personal information (App password, OTP, Debit card PIN) via call, SMS or email. Please do not disclose such details to anyone. If you feel it's important to know about the person, when sensitive info is being asked through texts, Confirm by calling back NEVER TEXT IT.

3) Lock your cell phone with your special unique PIN, complex pattern, or special password. Activate the encryption feature if one exists. If you don't have a lock, you can set one. Always password-protect your mobile device, use the auto-lock security feature.

4) When you get a sudden text from friends or family and they  ask urgently to see you or ask for some help such as asking for money, be sure to call back to confirm that the message came from them. If you can't reach them, be very careful about going to places to meet 'family and friends' who send you texts.
